On Saturday 28 March 2026 we are delighted to host the first ever Anja Fest at the mill. An afternoon and evening of splendid music raising money for CRY in memory of Anja Wilson.

Anja tragically passed away on 1st June 2025, aged just 19. She was a kind, thoughtful, and quietly brilliant young woman, with a deep love of nature, music, and a simpler way of life. Anja passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition. Her family and friends were devastated by her loss, but determined to honour her memory by supporting CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), a charity working to prevent other families from experiencing the same unimaginable pain.

It all starts at 3.00pm and runs through to 8.00pm. Admission is pay as you feel. Appearing are The Jon Palmer Trio, Hazjak, Lola and Steve, Otra, Queensbury Singers, Limited Edition, Into The Buttercup and Chris Manners. There may well be special guests!

We will have teas, coffee and cake available and our bar will be open. There will be a tombola and charity raffle.
